Badal congratulates Modi, Shah on election victories
Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal on Tuesday congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP national president Amit Shah on their party's victory in Jharkhand and its performance in Jammu and Kashmir.

Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal on Tuesday congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP national president Amit Shah on their party's victory in Jharkhand and its performance in Jammu and Kashmir.
In his message to the two leaders, the chief minister expressed the hope that the new governments in both the states would live up to the expectations of the electorate, an official spokesman said.
The BJP's success in Jharkhand comes on top of its victory in Maharashtra and Haryana in the recent assembly
elections after the stupendous victory in Lok Sabha polls.
The BJP, which has won 25 seats all in Jammu region, has recorded its best performance in the state.
