Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal on Tuesday expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Gopinath Munde the senior BJP leader from Maharashtra and union rural development minister, who passed away in a fatal road accident in New Delhi.

In a condolence message, CM described Munde as a leader of masses, seasoned politician, an able parliamentarian and a social activist.

Munde also served as deputy chief minister in the Maharashtra government.
