Badal writes to PM on conservation of monuments in Lahore

Badal said the Centre should take up the issue with Pakistan for proper upkeep and conservation of Maharaja Ranjit Singh's ancestral Haveli at Gujaranwala and Baradri of Maharaja Sher Singh at Lahore.
Citing religious sentiments of the people Badal said that Sher-e-Punjab Maharaja Ranjit Singh was the founder of the Sikh empire and it was the duty of the Centre to raise the issue.
