BJP women wing burns effigy of kin of Bishnoi, Venod Sharma

Days after Haryana Janhit Congress supremo Kuldeep Bishnoi ended his three-year-old partnership with the BJP and formed an alliance with Janchetna Party chief Venod Sharma, the women wing of saffron party on Wednesday took out a funeral procession of Bishnoi's brother, Sharma's son and HLP chief Gopal Kanda and burnt their effigies in Rohtak.

Pratibha Suman, state president of BJP women wing, accused the alliance between parties of Bishnoi and Venod Sharma as unholy nexus against society. She said Bishnoi's brother Chander Mohan alias Chand Mohammed, Sharma's son Manu Sharma and HLP chief Gopal Kanda who had tainted past in connection with Anuradha alias Fiza, Jessica Lal and Geetika Sharma cases, respectively.

Cautioning electorate, she said society should reject such persons who disgraced women. Other saffron party leaders also termed Bishnoi's tie-up with Venod Sharma and possible tie-up with Kanda's party as the game plan of Congress chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda ahead of assembly polls in Haryana.
