Car overturns after hitting another vehicle in Sec 9

A car turned turtle after it hit another vehicle behind the CITCO petrol pump in Sector 9 here on Wednesday morning at around 10.30am.

Hargun Singh, a city-based advocate, hit his Volkswagen Polo into a white Maruti Swift, which was being driven by 60-year-old Balbir Singh. Hargun’s car stopped at the T-junction behind the petrol pump and hit Balbir’s car. The Swift went up in the air and overturned before falling on the ground on its roof.

The incident occurred when Balbir was coming from the petrol pump and Hargun from the T-junction. Both escaped unhurt. A passerby called the police control room but no case was registered as both drivers did not lodge any complaint.
