Framing charges, additional sessions judge Tarsem Mangla stated all 15 accused tampered with samples of seized drugs for preparing 'negative' reports to support drug peddlers/smugglers during court cases. The charges have been framed under Prevention of Corruption Act, sections 420, 67 and 68 of the IPC.

Rajwinderpal is accused of preparing fake reports of the seized contraband.

They allegedly used to prepare fake reports with the help of junior assistant Rajesh Mishra, while Class-4 employees Darshan Singh and Jagdeep Singh negotiated with cops involved in scam.

Among others, against whom charges were framed included middleman Charanjit Singh, a Class-4 employee at Mohali civil hospital, Manjit Singh, Sandeep Singh and Shinghara Ram.
