Court adjourns hearing of petition against Rahul Gandhi
A local court adjourned the hearing of a petition filed against Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi by a city-based lawyer objecting to 'inflammatory remarks' passed by him about the natives of Uttar Pradesh (UP) and Bihar, here on Wednesday.

A local court adjourned the hearing of a petition filed against Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi by a city-based lawyer objecting to 'inflammatory remarks' passed by him about the natives of Uttar Pradesh (UP) and Bihar, here on Wednesday.
Shiv Murti Yadav had filed a case against Gandhi in December 2011 accusing him of hurting the sentiments of Bihar and UP natives.
The case would now come up for hearing on March 12, 2014.
Yadav said Gandhi had referred to Bihar and UP natives as beggars while kicking off Congress' UP election campaign in Phulpur on November 14, 2011.
