Cyclist killed in accident
A 50-year-old cyclist died after being hit by an unidentified vehicle near Phase 9 here on Friday night. The deceased has been identified as Baljinder Singh, alias Vijay, a resident of Sector 66.

A 50-year-old cyclist died after being hit by an unidentified vehicle near Phase 9 here on Friday night.
The deceased has been identified as Baljinder Singh, alias Vijay, a resident of Sector 66.
The incident took place when Baljinder, who is an autorickshaw driver, was on the way to Sector 66.
Baljinder, who received head injuries, was taken to a hospital, but was declared brought dead.
The police had recovered a mobile phone from the deceased and had informed his sister with whom he was staying. The body was handed over to the family after a post-mortem.
