Deputy mayor Davesh Moudgil on Saturday interacted with the residents of Sector 48 about their longpending demands.
The deputy mayor also initiated the work of widening and recarpeting of V5 road of Sector 48-A and B.
“These roads are very narrow and will be widened upto 8 feet on both sides of the road, ”the deputy mayor said.
He also launched the work of laying 80mm paver blocks at Industrial Area Phase-II, Chandigarh. Work on beautification and shifting of railing at Sector 47-D park was also initiated on Saturday. A ‘Vanmahotsava’ at Janj Ghar, Sector 47 and Sarvhitkaari Society, Sector 48, was organised on the occasion. The deputy mayor, along with the area residents, planted 100 saplings.
