The nurses’ association has given one-day ultimatum to the PGIMER administration to take action against the official concerned.

According to the nurses’ association, an administrative officer reached the ENT OPD around lunch time on Wednesday and asked a nurse, Parveen, to put a stamp on the OPD card. However, Parveen refused to do so on the pretext of lunch time. Following that the officer made a complaint with medical superintendent and nursing superintendent alleging that the nurse misbehaved with him.

However, nurses lodged a counter complaint seeking action against the administrative officer. Association president said if action was not taken against the official, they would halt work at the OPD and it would be followed by stopping work at the institute.
