Fruit-growers from Kashmir to visit Himachal Pradesh

Ten fruit-growers from the Kashmir valley will visit Himachal Pradesh(HP) to get the knowhow of latest technology used by their counterparts in a week-long tour organised by the horticulture department.

Ten fruit-growers from the Kashmir valley will visit Himachal Pradesh(HP) to get the knowhow of latest technology used by their counterparts in a week-long tour organised by the horticulture department.

Sources said the fruit growers who left here yesterday will reach HP tomorrow. A group of 30 women farmers from different parts of Kupwara district in north Kashmir left yesterday to visit different institutions in the northern states.

Already around a hundred farmers from the Kashmir valley have visited various agriculture institutions in HP, Punjab, Haryana and Jammu to get the latest practices in agriculture and allied sectors.
