Girls grab top ten slots of BCA-III exams

Girls triumphed over boys in BCA-III examinations after they have been grabbed all ten spots in the exams, results of which were announced by Panjab University late on Monday evening.

Girls triumphed over boys in BCA-III examinations after they have been grabbed all ten spots in the exams, results of which were announced by Panjab University late on Monday evening.

Aanchal Gaba of Devki Devi Jain Memorial College for Women, Ludhiana, grabbed the examination by securing 2,021 out of 2,400 marks. Eight of the top ten students are from Ludhiana colleges.

Teena Garg of MCMDAV College for Women, Chandigarh, topped among those from Chandigarh colleges by securing 1,946 marks and grabbed the seventh position.

Memorial College for Women, Ludhiana, respectively, have secured second and third positions by securing 1,992 and 1,983 marks respectively.

Payal Bajaj of Dev Samaj College for Women, Ferozepur City secured 1,981 marks and secured fourth position while Priyanka of Devki Devi Jain Memorial College for Women, Ludhiana, secured 1,975 and stood fifth position.

Manmeet Kaur of Guru Nanak Khalsa College for Women, Ludhiana, secured 1,954 marks and got sixth position while Ramandeep Multani of Dasmesh Girls College, Chak Ala baksh, Mukerian, who 1,938 marks bagged the eight spot.

Prachi Sarna of Devki Devi Jain Memorial College for Women, Ludhiana, with 1,932 marks came in the ninth spot while Purnima of Khalsa College for Women, Ludhiana, and Priyanka of MTS Memorial College for Women, Ludhiana, shared the tenth position with 1,920 marks.

PU Controller of Examinations (CoE) Parvinder Singh said that 1,821 of the 2,137 students who had appeared for the BCA-III exams passed the exam, bringing the pass percentage to 85.21%.
