Addressing a public rally at Patauda village of Badli assembly constituency in favour of party candidate Om Prakash Dhankar on Monday, Rajnath said, "You gave kurta to the BJP by voting historically in favour of the party in the Lok Sabha elections, now give us pyjama by voting for the party in Haryana," Singh said in an attempt to connect with people of the rural-dominated in Badli segment.

Notably, the BJP had won seven out of total 10 Lok Sabha seats in the parliamentary elections.

"Prime Minister Narendra Modi's good governance model in Delhi has attracted the attention world over and foreign investment is likely to come to India and now government focus would be to encourage 'Made in India' products," the home minister said.

"The golden period in which 'Made in India' would rule the world on its merit is not far and Haryana's victory would add more value in it," Singh said.
