Under the policy, reimbursement cost ranging from Rs 10,000 to Rs 4 lakh for different type of artificial limbs would be granted to them, a health department spokesperson said.

The reimbursement would be allowed once every five years on getting prescription from an orthopedic of the government hospital, the spokesperson added.
