With the revival of monsoon in the state, the meteorological centre here on Wednesday issued a warning of heavy rain in the next 48 hours.

The state on Wednesday recorded 7.6 ml rainfall, less than the normal mark of 7.9 ml. Kullu district recorded 10.6 ml rainfall (152 % above the normal), while Lahaul and Spiti received 15.2 ml rainfall (230 ml above the normal mark).

Bharmour received 32 ml, Kalatop 27 ml, Manali 24 ml, Dalhousie 21 ml, Bhandal 20 ml, Chamba 18 ml, Tissa 17 ml, Dharamshala and Udaipur 16 ml each, Keylong 14 ml and Saloni and Bajaura 11 ml each.
However, the state recorded 23.1 ml rain in the last week against the normal mark was 46 ml, resulting in 49% rain deficit. Monsoon is 37% deficit in the state as 455.3 ml rain is recorded, while the normal mark is 722.1 millimeter.
