The shrine had been reopened 20 days ago after a three-month suspension of the yatra due to the June flash floods in Uttarakhand.

The ceremonial closure during the winter, when the area remains snowbound, is an annual feature.
More than 10,000 pilgrims paid obeisance at the temple after the resumption of the yatra, gurdwara management officials said.
