Jaswant Singh Neelpur (84) father of Punjab-cadre IAS officer Kahan Singh Pannu, died at a private hospital in Rajpura on Saturday night.

Jaswant Singh Neelpur (84) father of Punjab-cadre IAS officer Kahan Singh Pannu, died at a private hospital in Rajpura on Saturday night.
Sharing sympathies with the bereaved family, Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal described Neelpur as a disciplined and committed soldier of the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD). He added that Neelpur worked in different capacities in the party for the downtrodden and the oppressed. Neelpur was cremated on Sunday.
