Inspector Sucha's bhog ceremony held

Bhog ceremony of deceased Chandigarh police inspector Sucha Singh was held at Sector 19 gurudwara here on Sunday. The ceremony was attended by all the top officials of UT administration and police. Senior political leaders of all parties including former railway minister Pawan Kumar Bansal, BJP leaders Satya Pal Jain, Sanjay Tandon and Municipal Corporation mayor Subhash Chawla attended the ceremony.

Bhog ceremony of deceased Chandigarh police inspector Sucha Singh was held at Sector 19 gurudwara here on Sunday.

The ceremony was attended by all the top officials of UT administration and police. Senior political leaders of all parties including former railway minister Pawan Kumar Bansal, BJP leaders Satya Pal Jain, Sanjay Tandon and Municipal Corporation mayor Subhash Chawla attended the ceremony.

Sucha Singh was stabbed to death by dismissed constable of Chandigarh police, Basant Singh alias Bunty on June 7. The family members of Singh have urged the police department to appoint Sucha's son Parminder Singh as assistant sub-inspector.
