Jor Mela: Bajwa forms committees
Ahead of the political conference at the Jor Mela in Fatehgarh Sahib on December 26, Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) president Partap Singh Bajwa on Thursday formed committees to make the event a "show of strength". Bajwa particularly asked the local Congress leadership of Fatehgarh Sahib, Amloh, Khanna, Samrala, Payal, Doraha, Mohali, Kharar, Rajpura and Dera Bassi to mobilise crowds for the congregation.

A party press note said former PPCC chief Shamsher Singh Dullo, MLAs Kuljit Singh Nagra, Charanjit Singh Channi, Randip Singh Nabha, Sadhu Singh Dharamsot, Amrik Singh Dhillon and Gurkirat Singh Kotli, PPCC general secretary Fateh Jung Bajwa, and other party leaders, including Vikram Singh Bajwa, Harinder Singh Bhambri, Ram Lal Mall, Dr Sikander Singh and Harnek Singh Diwana, attended the meeting.
