Man axes wife to death, ends life in Rajasthan

A man axed his wife to death and later committed suicide by consuming poison at Hanumangarh junction, Rajasthan, on Thursday. In the morning, Vinod Arora (40) reached his father-in-law Kewal Krishna Arora's house where, in a fit of rage over some dispute, he attacked his wife Rajni Arora (35) with an axe, killing her on the spot.

In the morning, Vinod Arora (40) reached his father-in-law Kewal Krishna Arora's house where, in a fit of rage over some dispute, he attacked his wife Rajni Arora (35) with an axe, killing her on the spot. He then returned to his house nearby and consumed a poisonous substance, said Bhanwarlal Meghwal, station house officer, Hanumangarh junction.

The police took the bodies and kept them in the government hospital mortuary. They are survived by two daughters and a son.
