Man gets 10 years' jail for raping minor
Additional district and sessions judge Madhu Khanna Lali has awarded ten years' rigorous imprisonment to Ashish, 22, a resident of Sham Nagar in Hisar, for raping a minor in her house last year.

Additional district and sessions judge Madhu Khanna Lali has awarded ten years' rigorous imprisonment to Ashish, 22, a resident of Sham Nagar in Hisar, for raping a minor in her house last year.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 to him, and in case the convict fails to deposit the fine he would further undergo imprisonment for six months.
Ashish was charged with rape under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO), the public prosecutor said.
The incident occurred on April 15 last year, when the girl and her 5-year-old brother were alone at home.
