Militant killed in north Kashmir encounter

A militant was killed in a fierce encounter in Baramulla district of north Kashmir. Defence ministry spokesperson Lt Col JS Brar said here on Saturday that an encounter occurred during a search operation at Boniyar Uri last night during which a militant was killed.
