The minimum temperature at Amritsar increased by over two notches since Sunday to settle at 10 deg C, the MeT said.

Ludhiana and Patiala recorded identical lows of 11 deg C each.

In Haryana, Hisar's low settled at 9.6 deg C, while Ambala registered a minimum temperature of 12 deg C, up one notch. Bhiwani recorded a low of 11 deg C.

Chandigarh's minimum settled a degree above normal at 12 deg C.
