In the chargesheet, the police have accused Gill of raping his former associate, a 27-year-old resident of Chandigarh.

The victim, in her statement, had stated that she had first met Gill in 2008. She further said that Gill had sexually assaulted her after promising to marry her.

She also accused him to taking her to different places to rape her, stating that she was last taken to a hotel at the Morni T point. The victim has also accused Gill of duping her in April this year.

After Gill refused to make good on his promise of marrying her, the victim approached the police earlier this year. Gill was booked on July 20 and arrested on August 2.

Confirming that charges of rape, unnatural sex and cheating have been registered against the conman, Chandimandir police station SHO Arvind Kumar has added that Gill had been booked for a case of theft in August 2013.
