The driver, Sher Singh, who had escaped from the government hospital, Pinjore, where he was admitted, would now be produced before a local court on Saturday, inspector Raj Kumar, Pinjore police station SHO said.
"We have booked him for rash driving and causing death due to negligence," he said adding that Anny, a school nurse, who was travelling in the same bus, when it met with an accident, is the complainant in this case.
"The bus was in full speed, when while negotiating a blind curve it overturned on the Mallah road. There are versions, however, that it was trying to save an auto rickshaw," the SHO said.
The bus hit the divider and overturned, following which an 11-year-old student Manav Garg got crushed under it after falling out. The incident took place at around 8am.
Sher Singh was also injured in the incident following which he was admitted to a government hospital in Pinjore, but he escaped after that.
