The personal assistants of UT adviser and home secretary have been promoted to the post of under secretary.Surjit Singh is PA of UT adviser KK Sharma while Gulshan Girdhar is PA of home secretary Anil Kumar.

Meanwhile, following repatriation of Mahavir Kaushik (HCS) to his parent state of Haryana, the charge of director industries, controller weights and measures, secretary state transport authority and joint secretary agriculture marketing board has been given to Balbir Singh Dhol (PCS).

Mandeep Kaur (HCS), secretary, Chandigarh Housing Board, has been given additional charge of director rural development and panchayats.
