Persons honoured for meritorious service
Himalayan Paryavaran Evan Vanya Prani Surksha Smiti, a local NGO devoted for environmental conservation of flora and fauna, held a function in Manali on Thursday to honour a Kullu resident, Om Prakash, for donating his blood on 80 occasions.

Himalayan Paryavaran Evan Vanya Prani Surksha Smiti, a local NGO devoted for environmental conservation of flora and fauna, held a function in Manali on Thursday to honour a Kullu resident, Om Prakash, for donating his blood on 80 occasions.
The Best Medical Award was conferred on Balbir Rawal of the Civil Hospital while Rakesh Sharma was given the Best Journalist Award. Local MLA Govind Singh Thakur was the chief guest on the occasion.
