Punjab CM pre-pones winter break from Dec 20

In view of intense cold wave and extreme weather conditions, Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal announced to pre-pone winter break in the government schools across the state from December 20.

In view of intense cold wave and extreme weather conditions, Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal announced to pre-pone winter break in the government schools across the state from December 20 instead of December 25 as declared earlier.

Disclosing this on Friday a spokesperson of the chief minister’s office said that all the Punjab government schools would remain closed till December 31.
