Punjab govt dismisses six veterinary doctors

The Punjab government has taken a serious view of its employees proceeding abroad and extending their stay in unauthorised manner and has dismissed six veterinary doctors for prolonged absence from duty. A notification in this regard has been issued.

The Punjab government has taken a serious view of its employees proceeding abroad and extending their stay in unauthorised manner and has dismissed six veterinary doctors for prolonged absence from duty. A notification in this regard has been issued.

Disclosing this here on Wednesday, a spokesperson said Dr Gurpreet Singh Batth, veterinary officer, civil veterinary hospital, brass (Fathegarh Sahib), Dr Pushpinder Singh, veterinary officer, veterinary polyclinic, Sangrur, Dr Ravinderpal Singh, veterinary officer, civil veterinary hospital, Katthu Nangal (Amritsar), Dr Harbhajan Singh, veterinary officer, civil veterinary hospital, Mandi Gobindgarh (Fathegarh Sahib), Dr Neeraj Sharma, veterinary officer, civil veterinary hospital, Sanaur (Patiala) and Dr Baljit Singh, veterinary officer, civil veterinary hospital, Dhudike (Moga) have been dismissed.
