Rotary club organises seminar on 'health care in adolescence'
Rotary Club, Rupnagar, organised a seminar on 'health care in adolescence' at Government Senior Secondary School,Ghanauli, near Rupnagar on Tuesday. On the occasion, the girl students, aged between 13 to18 years, were informed about the occurance of physical changes in girls during adolescence and problems being faced by the them during puberty.

Rotary Club, Rupnagar, organised a seminar on 'health care in adolescence' at Government Senior Secondary School,Ghanauli, near Rupnagar on Tuesday. On the occasion, the girl students, aged between 13 to18 years, were informed about the occurance of physical changes in girls during adolescence and problems being faced by the them during puberty.
Dr Gurvinder Kaur informed the girls about the diseases that occur due to deficiency of vitamins, iron and calcium in the body and urged them to take nutritious diet. Rotary Club, Rupnagar, secretary Dr Usha Bhatia also spoke the occasion. School principal Tejinder Kaur was also present. Rotary Club, Rupnagar, president AS Bhatnagar said the club would organise such seminars in future also.
