Sarabjit's family given LPG distributorship

The central government has approved the allotment of a Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) distributorship of Indian Oil Corporation Limited to the next of kin of Indian prisoner, Sarabjit Singh, who died at a Pakistan hospital in May last year.

IOC Punjab state office executive director Sudeb Gupta handed over the Letter of Intent for an Indane distributorship at Bhikhiwind, in Tarn Taran, to Sukhpreet Kaur and Poonam, wife and daughter of Sarabjit, respectively, at Chandigarh. His sister Dalbir Kaur was also present.
