The matter came up for hearing before a division bench of justice MM Kumar and justice Alok Singh on Monday, which issued notice to the state government and directed officials concerned to file replies before May 2.

The petitioner company alleged that under the garb of high court's directions for not harassing and not stopping vehicles at toll plaza unnecessarily that resulted in long queues, police had now started opening the boom barrier forcibly many times. This had resulted in huge losses to the company operating the toll plaza, the petition said.
