Truck claims 42-year-old farmer’s life
A 42-year-old farmer was killed after a Swaraj Mazda truck hit his motorcycle on national highway-21 near Kharar on Thursday.

A 42-year-old farmer was killed after a Swaraj Mazda truck hit his motorcycle on national highway-21 near Kharar on Thursday.
The police said the victim, Gurnam Singh, was on his way home in Abeypur from SAS Nagar.
As he reached near his village, a Swaraj Mazda truck coming from the opposite side hit his motorcycle and Singh came under the truck's rear tyre. He died on the spot.
The police have registered a case against the truck driver, who fled the spot, leaving his truck behind.
The body was handed over to the family after conducting autopsy at the Kharar civil hospital.
