Two persons were arrested after 1 kg cannabis was recovered from their vehicle in Doda at Jammu, police said on Thursday.

Two persons were arrested after 1 kg cannabis was recovered from their vehicle in Doda at Jammu, police said on Thursday.
On the intervening night of yesterday and today, a police party at Panjtirthi intercepted a tempo and recovered 1 kg cannabis from it, a police officer said.
The driver of the tempo Aman Chawala and his associate Vijay Kumar have been arrested, he said, adding a case has been registered.
Investigations are on to ascertain the source and destination of the drug, he said.
