Two UIPS profs bag Best Paper Award

Two faculty members of University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS), Panjab University, have bagged the Best Paper Award at the Indian Pharmaceutical Congress meeting held recently. The PU said that Sarwar Beg and Preetkawal Kaur bagged 'Best Paper Award' at the annual meeting of 65th Indian Pharmaceutical Congress (IPC) held in Delhi.

The PU said that Sarwar Beg and Preetkawal Kaur bagged 'Best Paper Award' at the annual meeting of 65th Indian Pharmaceutical Congress (IPC) held in Delhi.

Sarwar Beg, a UGC-research fellow at UIPS, got selected among 250 scientists in the technical section of 'Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Assurance'. The present work was carried out under the guidance of UIPS professor Bhupinder Singh Bhoop and NIPER, SAS Nagar, professor Saranjit Singh. Preetkawal Kaur has completed her doctoral research work under the guidance of Maninder Karan and professor Karan Vasisht.

IPC is the biggest annual conclave of the scientists where luminaries, dignitaries, experts and young scientists from various streams of pharmaceutical sciences participate. This year, nearly 6,500 delegates from academia and pharma industry participated in this conference.
