Valuables worth three lakhs stolen
Miscreants allegedly decamped with gold ornaments worth `2.5 lakhs and well as a cash amount of `25,000 and other valuables from a house at Lohar Gali on the intervening night of July 30-31.

Miscreants allegedly decamped with gold ornaments worth `2.5 lakhs and well as a cash amount of `25,000 and other valuables from a house at Lohar Gali on the intervening night of July 30-31.
The owner of the house, Karnail Kaur, is a widow who had returned home from Lalru on July 30.
In her complaint to the police, she alleged that she found the house was ransacked ,when she had returned and that t the gold and cash she had kept in a cupboard, were missing.
She claimed that she had purchased the ornaments and valuable for her daughter's marriage.
The police officials said a case had been registered and that the investigations were on.
