Bengaluru to witness power disruptions till Tuesday; Check affected areas here

Bengaluru city will see disruptions in power supply in many areas today and tomorrow as the BESCOM has scheduled some quarterly maintenance works.

Many areas in Bengaluru might face power cuts today and tomorrow, i.e., Saturday and Sunday as the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KTPCL), which is the sole distributor of electricity in the southern state, will be carrying out a number of maintenance works, data uploaded onto the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company's (BESCOM) website indicated.

These works majorly include periodical maintenance projects for the first quarter, along with condition monitoring, hotline observations and bus coupling works. Most of these will be carried out between 10 am and 5 pm, resulting at least five-hour power outages.

June 3, Saturday

RBI layout, Kottanur, J P Nagar 5th phase, Shreyas Colony, Gaurav Nagara, Nataraja layout, Nrupathunga Nagar, Jambusavare dinne, Chunchughatta, Brigade Millenium and Brigade Gardenia apartments and areas surrounding the sub-station.

June 4, Sunday

Sunkadakatte, Herohalli, Kempegowdanagar, Gollarahatti, Tunganagar, Hosahalli, Annapoorneshwarinagar, Nedikrappa Industrial area, Shankarappa Industrial area, Anjananagar, Niligiri Thopu, Hegganahalli, Kaggalipura, Maisandra, Gandhi nagar, Chokkasandra Madivala, Gudnahalli, Halehalli, Bhakthipura.

June 5, Monday

All 11 KV feeders of Cheluru, Hosakere, Hagalawadi, Nandihalli, Handanakere and Huliyaru sub-stations. Mathighatta, Ammanahalli, Yennegere, Kamalapura, Kaimara, Uppinakatte, Malligere, Hosuru, Kenglapura, Soralamavu, Koragere, Kenkere, Yelnaadu, Singapura, Chikkabidare, Nandihalli, Lingappanahalli, Matihalli, Kallahalli, Seegebaagi, Keshavapura, Hosalli, Somajjanapalya and Borakanaalu.

June 6, Tuesday

Kaveri Nagar, Hulimavu, Akshaya Nagar, Hongasandra, BTS layout, Virat Nagar, Kalena Agrahara, Vega city, Arakere, BDA, Nyanappanahalli, Satyasai BDA, Kodichikkanahalli, Vijaya Bank layour, Vishwapriya layout surrounding Area. Gangangatta, Hunseghtta, Sugoor, M Gollaratti, Kanughatta, Dasudi, Vaisalaghatta, Gandhullu, Guruvapura, H.
