Days after some miscreants allegedly pelted stones at the residence of Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar in Karnal, state’s home minister Anil Vij on Sunday warned them of strict action.

On Friday, at least seven men had thrown stones and bricks at the Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar’s private residence in Prem Nagar area of Karnal. However, no major damage or injury was reported. (HT file photo)

“The incident is condemnable. How can someone dare to do such an act. I have already spoken to the officials concerned for action and no one will be spared for this attack,” he said.

On Friday, at least seven men had thrown stones and bricks at the CM’s private residence in Prem Nagar area. However, no major damage or injury was reported.

Ram Nagar police station in-charge Kiran said two men have already been arrested and taken into remand.

“They were not drunk or drugged, as suspected. They had executed this crime just to get popular and spread terror. A few of them have criminal backgrounds,” she added.
