‘CH01-DB-0001’ rakes in ₹22.5 lakh at Chandigarh RLA auction

The auction was held for vehicle registration numbers of new series “CH01-DB”, along with left over fancy/special registration numbers of previous series

Registration number “CH01-DB-0001” fetched the highest bid of ₹22.58 lakh at the latest e-auction of vehicle numbers by the Registering and Licensing Authority (RLA).

The auction was held for vehicle registration numbers of new series “CH01-DB”, along with left over fancy/special registration numbers of previous series.

The auction, which was conducted from October 29 to October 31, raked in a total revenue of ₹2.7 crore, with registration number “CH01-DB-0007” going for the second highest amount of ₹10.94 lakh.

In the previous auction held in August, registration number “0001” of the CH01-DA series was sold for the highest-ever price of ₹36.43 lakh against the reserve rate of ₹50,000. The second highest bid was won for the number “0003” at ₹17.84 lakh, followed by the number “0009” at ₹16.82 lakh.

This auction had helped the RLA earn the highest-ever revenue of ₹4.08 crore.
