Chandigarh Industrial and Tourism Corporation (CITCO) will be introducing new packages and activities to compete better in the hospitality sector.

CITCO chairman Nitin Kumar Yadav along with managing director Purva Garg visited sale depot in Industrial Area, Phase 1, to review the utilisation of vacant land. Various Modalities were discussed and explored with the CITCO’s engineering and industrial wing team. The chairman directed that vacant spaces must be utilised optimally.

Yadav and Garg also visited Hotel Parkview and Hotel Shivalikview and took a round of restaurants, rooms, banquets, business centre and conference room.

Yadav also asserted that to keep abreast of the competition, new packages and activities will be introduced to take care of the increasing need and requirements for tourists coming to Chandigarh.

CITCO is actively participating in the ongoing Iconic Week of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav at Leisure Valley. It has put up its food stall and is catering visitors thronging in mela. Also, a sight-seeing tour for special students of Vatika School in Sector 19 was arranged in CITCO’s double decker hop on hop off tourist coach.
