Chandigarh: Seven HPS officers redesignated as ASP

The Haryana government on Tuesday redesignated seven Haryana Police Service (HPS) officers in the rank of deputy superintendent of police (DSP) to the rank of additional superintendent of police (ASP) in their own pay scale with immediate effect.

As per an order issued by additional chief secretary, home, Sudhir Rajpal, the redesignation of the seven DSP rank officers will be subject to the vacancies arising consequent to the promotion of HPS officers to the IPS in Haryana cadre against select list (2020-2025). The seven HPS officers are Sunil Kumar, Ashish Chaudhary, Amit Bhatia, Purnima Singh, Adarshdeep Singh, Ajit Singh and Virender Singh.
