Interacting with the media, he said the BJP will play the role of constructive opposition and any anti-people decision of the state government would be strongly opposed.
“We would not compromise on any issue related to the development of the state,” he said, while blaming the chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu-led regime for setting wrong precedents.
“The beginning of the Congress government was not as we had expected. CM Sukhu is known for his simplicity, but the decisions his government took were contrary to his behaviour,” he added.
Jai Ram claimed that the government has set a wrong precedent by shutting down the offices and institutions opened by the previous government. He also said that it was for the first time in the history of the state that a government has been formed with vote share difference of less than 1%.
