Haryana has not seen such corrupt government in its history: Hooda

Senior Congress leader and former Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said the people of state have taken a pledge to uproot the BJP-JJP government.
Addressing the gathering at fourth ‘Vipaskh Aapke Samaksh’ in Kurukshetra on Sunday, he said Haryana has not seen such a corrupt government in its history.
“The BJP and the JJP have looted the state for their selfish reasons. Every section of the society, be it farmers, labourers, poor, Dalits, traders, or government employees, used to think that while they are in a miserable condition, someone else would be satisfied with this government. But today, they know the truth and how it (the state government) has hurt every section of Haryana,” Hooda added.
The former CM claimed that the state was at number one in unemployment, inflation and corruption in the country. “Jobs in HPSC, HSSC are selling like items at a grocery store. Inflation has reached a point where it has become difficult for commoners to run a household. Democracy is in danger today and everyone has to fight the battle together,” he added.
Rajya Sabha MP Deepender Hooda, who was also present at the event, said the voice of every section was raised through the programme and the farmers’ movement was supported from the road to the Parliament by them.
The Sunday’s programme was organised by former minister Ashok Arora and conducted by former minister and MLA Geeta Bhukkal. More than two dozen Congress legislators, at least 50 former ministers, MLAs, and MPs were present.
Meanwhile, reacting to Hooda’s previous comment on how junior officials were being nabbed on charges of corruption and there was no action against others, home minister Anil Vij took a jibe and said that he (Hooda) should not worry.
“We have cracked down such cases earlier too and proceedings in a similar case are undergoing at the CBI court against Hooda himself,” he told the media in Ambala.
