: Students of literature have a bright future in journalism as they have a good command on writing and speaking besides being keen observers. These views were shared by Yojana Yadav, senior news editor, Hindustan Times, Chandigarh, with students of Mukand Lal National College, Yamunanagar, during an extension lecture organised by its department of English on ‘Literature and Journalism.’

She also highlighted the importance of the habit of reading newspapers. Head of the department Ritu Kumar Kamra and faculty member Sumita Kanwar also addressed the gathering. Dr. Rahul Khanna, officiating principal of the college, presented the vote of thanks. Faculty members Sunita Kapoor, Rupender Kumar, Jitender Kumar, Rahul Singh, Pooja Jain and Saloni were present on the occasion.
