Playing in the second semi-final tie, IYA, Manipur, beat Zinc Football Academy, Udaipur, 1-0 to enter the final. T Likson scored the winning goal in the 40th minute. The final will be played on Tuesday at the Sector 46 Sports Complex.

RoundGlass Punjab FC to face off Aizawl FC

Panchkula RoundGlass Punjab FC will look to continuing their good start to the season by securing all three points against Aizawl FC in next home I-League game at Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Panchkula on Monday.

They won their first two matches of the season against Sreenidi Deccan and Mohammedan SC, while a stoppage time equaliser denied all three matches in the last match against Rajasthan United FC. On the other hand Aizawl FC have one win, one draw and a loss from their previous three encounters. They will be taking the field at Panchkula confident after beating Sudeva Delhi FC in their last match at Aizawl.

“We approach every game as per the style of play of the opponent. In some games, we go with the same plan and in some we make changes, be it in personnel or in the way we play the game. Aizawl is a very strong side and they have good players in every department. We want to continue our unbeaten run and add another three points to our tally”, said RGPFC head coach Staikos Vergetis ahead of the tie.
