Woman’s body found in a suitcase in Haryana’s Kaithal
The sky-blue coloured suitcase was first discovered by a biker on Monday, but when he again found it at the same spot the next day; he decided to inform the police.
Body of an unidentified woman was found in a suitcase in a drain near Shila Khera village of Kaithal on Tuesday.
Cops said that there were strangulation marks on the body’s neck, a tattoo on the arm and clothes fully intact.

As a police team from the nearest station reached the site, the suitcase was opened by the cops and the body of a woman in her 30s was found.
Cops said that there were strangulation marks on the body’s neck, a tattoo on the arm and clothes fully intact.
SP Upasana said that the identification of the woman was being established with the help of missing person complaints in Kaithal and neighbouring districts.
“We have registered an FIR at Kaithal City police station and sent the body for autopsy. Though a final report is awaited, but prima facie it appears to be a case of murder by strangulation. The experts will also check if she was raped and all other possible angles,” she added.
