KVM students visit Dayanand Medical College

Ludhians: The Class 12 students of KVM school paid an educational visit to Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH ) on Monday.

During their visit, the students were shown various machines and equipments, including x-ray machine, CT scan machine, MRI machine, ultrasound machine etc. The functionality of ECG, EEG, EMG and defibrillator along with the electrode system was also demonstrated to the students.

Meanwhile, principal Sandeep Puri said medicine is one of the noblest professions and it needs passion and empathy to be a competent and successful doctor.

He further said that the students got an opportunity to know about the functioning of various departments of the hospital, including emergency ward, medicine wards, surgery ward and various laboratory areas. They also came to know about basic science department like anatomy, biochemistry, forensic medicine, pharmacology, physiology and community medicine, he said.
