Professor Singh, while addressing the gathering, said the world has become more advanced in communication, especially after Covid-19 and work from home culture. “The dependence on social media has increased multi-fold. A key issue facing today’s society is the increase in cybercrime. Given the serious nature of e-crimes, its global nature, and implications, it is clear that there is a crucial need for a common man to understand such criminal activity,” he said.
He said it’s for the same reason, a special training session for the cops has been organised.
The event was helmed by Dr Sanjeev Bansal (Dean FMS, Director ABS) and also saw the participation of Dr Amit Dubey, an international cyber sleuth, and Moin Shaikh, director of sales for Credence Security, India.
