Dr Anil Mishra, a member of the trust, and a VHP activist welcomed the guests at Ram Janmabhoomi. The trust had roped in people who could speak Tamil, so that the construction work can be explained to the visitors in their mother tongue.

“Visitors were apprised of the upcoming facilities for devotees at Ram Janmabhoomi and the ongoing construction of the sanctum sanctorum of the temple,” said Champat Rai, general secretary of the trust. The visitors prayed to Ram Lalla and went around the Ram Janmabhoomi campus.

According to the trust, delegates attending the Kashi-Tamil Samagam will continue to come to Ayodhya till December 18. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had inaugurated the programme in Varanasi on November 19.
