CIDCO extends online registration for inclusive housing in NAINA
CIDCO extends the online registration date for its inclusive housing scheme in Navi Mumbai Airport Influence Notified Area (NAINA) to October 27, 2023. The online lottery draw will be held on November 22, 2023. 20% of the plot area in NAINA has been made available for economically weaker sections and low-income groups. 181 tenements are available for sale, with 17 for economically weaker sections and 164 for low-income groups. CIDCO's role is limited to selecting eligible applicants through lottery draw. Registration is available on the website https://lottery.cidcoindia.com.
NAVI MUMBAI: After receiving a good response from citizens to its inclusive housing scheme (IHS) in Navi Mumbai Airport Influence Notified Area (NAINA), the City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra (CIDCO) has extended the date to October 27 for the online registration of the scheme so that maximum people can avail its benefit. The online lottery draw for the scheme will be conducted on November 22, 2023
As per the approved Development Control and Promotion Regulations of the NAINA project, there is a provision to develop housing for the economically weaker sections and lower income groups under the scheme in plots having an area of 4,000 sq.m or more. Thus, 20% of the total area of the plot has been made available in the NAINA project area through private developers for economically weaker sections and lower-income group tenements. On 19th September 2023, a housing scheme of 181 tenements was launched. Under the scheme, 17 tenements for economically weaker sections and 164 tenements for low-income groups have been made available for sale.
The extension has also been granted for other processes like submission of application, payment, publishing the draft list of applicants and the computerised lottery draw. The revised schedule regarding this has been made available on the above-mentioned website.
The planning agency said, “CIDCO’s role is only limited to selecting the eligible applicants through lottery draw and sending the list of eligible applicants to the developers.”
